Looks like your theme is not compatible, try to delete the theme folder or renaming it, 174_1 or something like that.

Yes, try with the WordPress default theme first and see if that makes a difference.

removing the theme does make a difference so it is with the theme. Now I am back to the starting point again.

Gidday, it seems that you are running into all sorts of issues with your themes :)

Why don't you consider hiring a developer? Then you can get what you want professionally done. It seems as through your theme needs are not to profound, therefore you could probably get something relatively cheap.

Yes I know it costs you to do this, but think about how much money you have lost by spending hours trying to sort out themes!

    Just an idea mate :)

I'd also say you should either have a theme developed or use one of the themes that already exist. Many of those themes that are offered for download can be customized from within the WordPress dashboard, so you don't risk breaking anything. You can then progress to making some changes to the theme's code and monitor step by step if the theme still works.

I am considering hiring out to get a theme developed. The thing here is this is for a clients blog, not mine. I am setting it up and managing it for the first month. So, I am consulting with them to cover the cost of the coder.

Well can you tell me how much you would charge for theme that will work. I will give you an look at the site that the blog is for.

http://allamericamgirls.com is a sex web cam site. The blog is to assist in driving traffic to it. I will be posting articles and pictures of the models there. All with links pointing back to the main site. I figure that a blog will work great because there is not much room for content on the site itself. And Google does not read pictures or videos. They do read the alt tags, but that is it.

So, if you want just give me some pointers and how much you would charge. I will let my client know, and maybe we can work together.

ok, no worries. I don't discuss pricing in the public forum, but I will PM you.

Also, why don't you just install the blog on the main domain in a subfolder? ie domain.com/blog
