Wordpress Installation with Webmatrix in VPS

Buddies, need your help to install Wordpress in VPS window server 2008 use Webmatrix. I failed to install WP, and got this message:
The source is invalid.
Cannot connect to the database ''.
Cannot connect to the database ''.
Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

May I know what wrong step happened? I use a valid password for administrator database, default is root.

Please give advice for this problem and your recommendation for other application to make my Wordpress running well.

Install it manually. Wordpress is a simple installation process.

1. Load up Wordpress to web directory
2. Create appropriate database and user account for database
3. Run Wordpress automated installation, put in the details for the database, and it all just happens
4. It is virtually idiot-proof.

It's as simple as that. Using the MS Web Installation programme isn't perfect in some cases. Manual installation is easy.
