wordpress installation problem

    i'm hosting my site on a windows sever so it use iis to run php .

    also i can run a php file normaly , but when i try to install the wordpress i got these error :
    PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 11FC93A2

    why i got these error when i run the wordpress file ??

    Could be something to do with user file permissions on your windows. make sure that the process for apache has access to it

    i suggest you just find a cheap linux hosting provider instead of bothering to run php apps on iis which is very troublesome.

    IIS alone no, its built for windows scripting languages like asp

    use hostgator, they will install WP for you and its only $10/month for unlimited websites.
