Hey, i am a new-b and i plan to start up a music band website something like tempostand.com and gimmesound.com but i am looking for someone who could just guide me to set up a complete website... what all add ons can i install to make the website completely work. any goo template that you guys would like to suggest. and the add ons which i should use. Hope would get replies from the Pros.
Well that depends.. do you have a full list of features you want to offer? That's a bit open ended of a question otherwise
First site is using wordpress and is very easy to deploy use, etc. It should also allow you to post vids etc. with relative ease from the admin panel. hope that helps, Nigel

Hi there Soundingloud, Seriously installing wordpress is really easy if you are with a host that supports cPanel with fantasitico (this is a one button install tool for wordpress and many other installs) For instance hostgator is really good with great support - their baby account is really cheap if you only need one domain. The add ons really do depend on what you inend to do with the site but you only need to go to wordpress.org and search on the topic you want to do like photo gallery and there will be a list of plugins (as the addons are called) that can help you. Also you need to consider the plugins that will help you get indexed by Google and bring in the traffic. I always install: Google XML Sitemaps - This plugin will generate a special XML sitemap which will help search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing and Ask.com to better index your blog.
