Wordpress installation hacks

    As with other open source projects they always force you to remove installation scripts and folders after installation but wordpress doesn't force this. Does wordpress forces this?

    I want to know how people are managing installation scripts so that hackers don't able to destroy your blog.

    I think you should delete the "Install" folder after the installation..But can't sure.I'm always use Fantastico these days :)
    Also,CHMOD the folders is important.

    install a test copy of wordpress, once you have it installed, try running the installer again ;)
