WordPress Instaled Through Fatastico/Change in URL

    it has to be changed during installation... give the location http://www. instead of http://

    But this will make no difference you can still open your site with both the formats available...

    To make the homepage for your blog (for references in your blog) to be http://www etc you should go to
    Options -> General -> WordPress address (URI): include the www and do the same for Blog address (URI):

    Next if you want to redirect someone that goes to the site without www you can make a htaccess with a redirect
