Hello thanks in advance for reading

I have installed SSL in my dedicated server and my entire website is https. But when i am trying to convert my wordpress to https, it gives error. I have tried all the available plugins (wordpress https, https for wordpress etc) but no luck. even most of the time the word press crashes (page became white or unknown error at line 0)

The interesting thing is, if i create a new wordpress (new db and new folder) its being https perfectly example. The problem arising with the old wordpress dbs (most are 4 years old and rich with content) which I have migrated from the old shared server Example though I have updated to the latest version from the wordpress admin panel.

some one can throw some lights?

    Thanks again
    Ben

Have you tried not using a plugin and just updating the site and home URL from the admin dashboard to the https:// urls? That is all you would need to do. What is the error you get when attempting that?
