    Hi,
    Ive already read thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=917838 but still I am not sure so I would be grateful if you could help with solving the duplicate content problem in wordpress.

    I run wordpress blog with tags. I am using plugin All in One Seo Pack.

    I allow to index main page, posts, categories

    I disallow to index tags, archive

    My question and problem is:

    What pages should I allow to index and what not - to avoid duplicate content and have better chance to gather traffic/higher serps rankings ?

    Should I allow to index pages 1,2,3 etc linking from main page example: http://example.com/page/2 ?

    Should I allow to index pages 1,2 in categories example: http://example.com/category/category-name/page/2 ?

    Thank you in advance for help ;)

    I do it like this:

    - I only put the tags for the sake of them appearing on the page in order to get combined to other keywords from the article. This way, the page appears in the SERPs for more keyword combinations. In reality however, I don't want to those tag pages to leak PR or to give me duplicate content issues. So the tags on my pages are nofollow and the tag pages are noindex;
    - In the categories sections, I either use a script that only lists the first one or 2 sentences from each article or I edit the theme myself in order to do that. On other occasions, I don't use categories at all. I make static pages for categories, and in those static pages I list the titles of my articles;
    - If I use archives, I only use them for the users, in which case I make them noindex.
    I think that's about it, if I remember anything else you will be the first to know ;).
    Good luck.
