    I want to buy hosting for one of my wordpress site, or a reseller hosting.

    alexa today is 290k, daily traffic 600-1,000

    The account is consistently using too much said by my current host.

    please let me know if you can host such site.

    @happyblog.

    I have a wordpress blog getting Approx Daily 1200 UV & 3000 Pageviews from last 5-6 months & my host has never complained.

    I am using hostable.com.

    Who are you using and what are their limitations?

    Also, in terms of raw transfer, how much data are you talking per month?

    What is your budget? You should look for a reseller host who has Softaculous installed for fast WordPress installations. I can help you optimize you WordPress if you want.

    Definitely get a VPS, I'd recommend Wiredtree.

    VPS from Arvixe.com is good. Even the shared plans are good.

    If you dont know about linux I would avoid a VPS. You will end up spending an arm and a leg on control panel licenses.

    I pray you didn't get a bloody virtual private box when you're looking to install WORDPRESS...That's rocket fuel in a lawnmower...

    Host for wordpress just means it's easier to install...but everyone accepts wordpress. It's just a CMS. Hosts that advertise ease of Wordpress installation cost more and target customers that don't know how to simply upload a few files and create databases. If you have panel, installing wordpress is a joke, and should be done on SHARED, not virtual private box...unless you want 50 blogs on that virtual private box...
