Wordpress hosted site not indexed

So, I have a question. I have a wordpress hosted "blog" that I submitted to google about a week and a half ago that still doesn't show up as being indexed. There is no info on back links, keywords, or HTML suggestions in webmaster tools.

Am I missing something here or has google just not gotten to that site yet? I would think google would be quick to index wordpress hosted blogs.

Your site is not going to automatically get indexed just from submitting it to Google.

You need to build links to your site or give the robots a reason to visit your site.

    Try submitting it here: http://www.imtalk.org/cmps_index.php?pageid=IMT-Website-Submitter

Select "2500" in the "Limit the number of created pages" section and let it run. That should be enough to get it indexed.

    Hello @AramA

If your site is fresh or new then you can wait few days or if your site is old then you can check your site source code or robots text. If you found any noindex meta or instruction then you should remove it first and then submit your site again via webmaster tools.

    Thanks

It takes time for stuff to be indexed.
Start sending some links that way and you'll start to see pages indexed. Also be sure you are giving Google a reason to index the site. Does it have content? Is it unique?
