Wordpress home page

    How can you make a certain post in Wordpress as your home page. When I go to the settings, it gives me the option to select either the "latest posts" or "static page" as my home page. It has the option for selection posts page but it does not give any option for me to select a certain post at my home page.

    Anyone with suggestions? I want to make a certain post as my home page so how do I do that?

    Have you actually created the page you want as your splash page?

    What do you mean splash page? Sorry not familiar with that...
