wordpress hide custom comment types from dashboard

    Hi,

    Got a quick question.
    I have a wordpress site and we are using custom comment types to create content instead of using custom post types. Problem is that they are showing in the wordpress dashboard even though we don't want them to show up there.

    So we used pre_get_comments and managed to hide them but the comment count for the different views ( pending, trash etc ) are not getting affected by this. they still show the original count.

    Does anyone know how to solve this?
