I apologize in advance for the dumb question, but I'm almost helpless with wordpress. I have a website I've been working on and off with, and I just now realized on the home page where it says "Short About" under it says "You can change this text in the sidebar.php file. If you login at wp-admin goto presentation and under themeediter select sidebar.php" I log in but I don't see where it says presentation, or short about. I hope I didn't just dumb Digital Point down by asking this....
There may not be nuthing to do with that and Sidebar actually. Go to Wordpress Settings.. and Edit the field under the site name.. i.e the description. that would do good. Or else, find where does that block points to, and edit it thanks.
There is no "Presentation", the editor is under "Appearance". This is what it looks like: Wordpress - Theme Editor 1. Make sure your theme is selected in the drop-down box on the right side. 2. Select "Sidebar (sidebar.php)" on the right side, then look through the code until you find "You can change this text in the sidebar.php file". 3. Only edit the text, leave the tags surrounding it alone. Save it by pressing the "Update File" button. Hope that helps
