Hey guys first off this forum is very good i am new here but i have been reading alot off here and learning every day. Ok so i have my wordpress site setup feeding off hip hop sites. The site is all about hip hop news. I think i looks good enough and the information is good. So all i need to do is to get money coming in. I need some help with Affiliate Programs and also anything to make some money off it. If i make money because of this thread i will pay who ever helps me. Also i must add i don't have a domain i just ran out of money so it will take a little while to get that. But i can you a .co.nr... Thanks for the help so far.
lol it seems you haven't been reading this forum that much then. A quick search can help you more than any one person can. I would find affailiates in the hiphop industry and write reviews of the products to promote them
Ok thanks for that i seem to have enough advertising on the site and i also have heeps of content now. So how would i go by advertising a blog whats the way to get the best turn around. p.s all free advertising please
The best way to get traffic is to be part of a relevant hip hop community forum. i.e. allhiphop.com/forum. You need to become an established poster normally so that your threads aren't deleted for looking like spam. You need a high google ranking which means you need to get your links out there. Visit other similar blogs with similar keywords and make comments (that aren't considered spam) with a link to your site and this will assist your google ranking. What is your url(out of interest)? I run a niche hip hop site but I am not concerned about advertising at the moment and most of my site traffic is organic.
Find out what people in your niche would want. If I was running the site and I was getting a lot of traffic for hip hop artists and songs I would be promoting ringtone CPA offers. You could either add banners for ringtone offers to the sites or hyperlink some of the words in your post to the offer.
I would have to agree with what everyone has been saying here... You need to find related products in your niche and write reviews... that is one of the easiest ways you will make money with your blog..
