Wordpress Help!

Hello,

I have just started with wordpress because most people say its better than blogger. But the problem is I don't know how to upload templates or Can I upload any other templates as I can do in blogger.

Explore your site's dashboard. You can upload readily made templates from Wordpress.

 

Are you referring to themes? just upload it to wp-content\themes subdirecotry

 

just do a search on the web for 'free wordpress templates' and you'll find a ton of them. when you find one you like, download it, unzip it and then upload to you wp-themes folder which is in the wp-content folder.

After uploading, go to your admin panel and on the design tab, click on themes and then click on the theme you want to use and that's it.

 

But I dont own a domain or hosting space...so where can I upload it..?

 

You're not using a self-hosted wordpress right?

If you're not self hosted, then you won't be able to upload file,
and can't use your own custom theme.

You can only choose from what wordpress.com has provided,
