wordpress help..

i have a new theme installed and customized the colors and text.

i have a big black thing in middle of my page that will not load, i thinki put a picture there??!?

and theres a premium wordpress theme ad to the right i need removed so i can put my ads or take that down..

and my stories on my blog wont show the pictures on the main page yet... only if you click the story..

any wordpress experts??
