The new sticky feature in WP 2.7 is good but leaves some pretty big holes. I have a site with many categories. To explain what I need here is an example of one top level category I need: The site deals with the Caribbean Islands. One category is "Bahamas" with many sub categories under it and separate islands articles. I want to have a post that will work as the descriptive description for the entire "Bahamas" section with a picture added. This would be used as an overall description of what to expect in this specific category. I want this to be a permanent sticky. Is anyone aware of an uncomplicated way to do this? I also realize there is another caveat - all my posts are automatically shortened by the 155 word count leaving just a blurb to whet the appetite of the reader until he clicks on the "read more" link. This "sticky" post needs to display the entire post not just the blurb. I truly appreciate you taking the time to help me figure out a resolution to this issue. Glen
Nvm, just found it, http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/astickypostorderer/ - Install and Activate it - Select Cagtegory at Tools > AStickyPostOrderer - You'll see all posts under that category - Fill in the box next to the post you want to stick for that category to "1" and "0" to remove it
