Trying to figure out why my right hand sidebar has relocated itself to the very bottom of my page :

Figured it out... it was <div> tags in posts.

 

yes! There is problem with your div widths, you should fix them so the bar fits at its right place, the bar at this time does not have enough space to stay at its said location.

Resize/trim your left column (main content), say around 25px.

 

This problem arises if:
1) Missing closing <div> tag in index.php file of theme you are using.
2) Size of sidebar is more than it should be.

 

either is too big to fit, or it has a bad alignment

 

Sorry for my ignorance... how do i accomplish this?

 

I have found that if i take the <div> tags out of the posts, it fixes the problem, but 1. the posts are automated and 2. if i take the div tags out manually i have to remove the resource boxes from the articles which i am not supposed to do and 3. It is very tedious to manually fix each post.

1. Go to your index.php or home.php file.
2. Look for the <div> for the left column. Check for the ID="" or class="". What is the id or class name? See it now?
3. Go to your css. Locate the id or class name. Edit the width:235px; and change it to width:210px;

Of course the value I gave above is just an example.
