Hi, well that statement is kinda skewed as I only tested on LinkShare.. So I decided to add a banner on my wordpress but when I publish, it doesnt show up! So I tweaked with image link till I see moments where it does show up. Here is what i found... Originial Link: http://click.linksynergy.com/[xxxxxx] -------- Dont Show! Tweaks: http://click.linksynergy.com/ --------------- Dont Show! http://linksynergy.com/ -------------------- Show! http://[xxx].linksynergy.com/ --------------- Dont Show! http://click.linksynerg.com/ ---------------- Show! I tried searching online but found nothing... I read Wordpress Terms of Service and I do not consider this Spam or Illegal Redirect since I do have an Agreement with the Company that provided me with the link... ..So I turn to you experts! Any idea? Have anyone come across issues like this?
I have plenty of affiliate link banners on WP. So I'm not sure what your problem is. Are you hosting your own WP or using their website to host it?
Ah... I think I found the reason why... faq.wordpress.com/2005/12/08/adsense/ hmmm.. so does that mean Wordpress no good for Free accounts?
You can't use wordpress for affiliate marketing or adsense. If you are serious at all about affiliate marketing why not buy a domain for 7 and hosting for $3.99 a month. In the end its well worth it.
im still new to affiliate marketing.. so i am experimenting before i am sure the cash i dish out will come back in profits. It seems Blogger does allow Ads. I might try that route.. Still in testing phase so be gentle on me =) And I guess an FYI to other Wordpress FREE users. Becoz if Wordpress finds out, they will shut down all your efforts without a chance to retrieve your work.. so better back up somewhere I guess =/
Wordpress.com doesn't allow Adsense and Affiliate Marketing. You can use Blogger - it's free too and you can put your affiliate links, banners, adsense ads as long as you don't make it too spammy - this can cause a removal of your blog on blogger in rare cases.
are you talking about wordpress hosted accounts? If so just install the script on your own server and you can do whatever the heck you want.
