Wordpress gurus - a HOW TO question invovling logins and paths

I would like to let many, many users login to my wp site and essentially "edit" their own blog. I would like it to look like this:

They login at mysite.com, then their wp blog is at mysite.com/user-name

Is that possible?...well, I'm sure its possible, but how do I do it, and where should I start looking?

You might want to think about using WordPress Mu, here is the link straight to the site:

WordPress Mu allows you to have unlimited users and blogs, from one installation.

If you can wait for some days more, wordpress 3.0 will have this feature in built.

 

Thanks for the tips. I did some initial searching, but any idea on when wp 3.0 will release? I saw April, which seemed a bit longer than a few days.
