Wordpress grid theme - all posts are h1 on the homepage

    So,
    I have a wp theme that is a grid look.
    Each post that appears on the homepage are h1 titles which is not good at all for seo.
    I've been looking around but couldn't find the file that determines that.

    I should mention that i'm pretty new at editing files but i'm sure i'll manage :D

    Anyone know which file i would need to edit and what i would have to do there? (assuming it's more than changing an <h1></h1> tag into an <h2></h2> tag)
