Wordpress format better than regular old school website?

I'm about to build out a site and was wondering if using Wordpress and updating my site with articles/info that way is better in regards to SEO than make a regular old HTML site and FTP'ing in and adding pages and/or updating existing pages.

Not sure if this really matters any as far as SEO goes...I guess with Wordpress it would just be easier.

Am I on the right page here?

    Thanks!

you are right. Wordpress is just easier. Plus you have all ypes of plugins.... Just way more simple to add content but do all sorts of things also.

From what I know it doesn't really matter this day in age. Google will not discriminate over the page ending in .html or not..I would suggest going with wordpress. hope this helps!
