WordPress for insurance quoting site?

Just thought of that, and I have seen some people hack WP to regular sites and newspaper sites but would it be able to transform into something like efinancial.com?

My idea lies in the fact that WP is a CMS and I would be able to add content very simply.

Any ideas as to what company does the transformation?

    Thanks

    Hey Dan,

Your thinking is correct, and any CMS can handle the content side, its the content and that you need to produce, to compete.

As for the Insurance quotation game, you need to be a licensed insurance broker (at least in Europe) to get into the data streams, to provide the online quote.

Our family are in Insurance, and I have looked many times at automating their workload via the web. It's a massive task but not for us mere flippers and domainers, you need a dev team to pass through the security stages even though the quotation coding is actually very basic from most providers.

Sorry to be so negative, but Ive been here before, maybe its different state side.

    Hey Rob,
Thanks for taking the time to respond. REP+
Yeah here in the states is the same game, I am starting a company and I need to find the right solution to have thousands of unique articles. I already have access to all the quoting scripts and all I need is to find a reputable company that will design and hack a WP piece of software that will allow me to do just this.

    Anyway, thanks
    Dan
