Wordpress files, new to this, how to administrate?

I bought a site and im uploading the wordpress files to my hosting.. How do I proceed? Do I enter a url where I can manage the blog just like wordpress.com? If so what url is that? Or is it more complicated?

 

after uploading wordpress instalation files, go to your cPanel and create a database.
then access your wordpress installation folder.

if you're using cPanel, just use fantastico to install wordpress, very easy.

When I go to the install.php it says i need to clear the old database and that wordpress was already installed. I tried to enter new password for admin in phpmyadmin control panel but still cant login.

 

just create a new database, and you're ready to go.

 

Thanks for reply, but i have created a new database but it says Status: Pending, it might be that right? How long does it take for status to go alive? Is the login info i added on the database what i must use to login to wordpress? I also edited the admin password on the users link through the myphp control panel.

 

well, what hosting do you use ?
some hosting have limitation about domain can be added-on and database.
Contact your hosting if you can't create a database.
