    Hi,

My wordpress blog has been corrupted. When I open the site or admin panel it gives me the following error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ')' in /home/worldone/public_html/wp-content/themes/revolution_magazine-30/functions.php on line 34

I don't want to lose my database.

Can anyone tell me please how to safe the database and reinstall the Wordpress?

or is there other solution without re installation?

    Regards
    HZ

    Hey,

Don't reinstall your wordpress. But backup first.
Try to delete your theme folder which is revolution_magazine-30 to something else. If you can't delete it, rename it.

Let me know if it works.

This is easy. Open functions.php and correct the line 34.

First just change your theme and then make the corrections or if you have original theme folder saved in your computer - replace that file
