WordPress error! HELP ASAP!

So i was posting stuff on wordpress, and then suddenly i get this php error:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 3670016) (tried to allocate 77824 bytes) in /home/campolar/public_html/wp-includes/post.php on line 2083

first of all, repair your database.

 

You have to repair your database and don't forget to optimize it. Which version of wordpress are you using?

 

it fixed by itself...i left it for a bit of time...

i'm using 2.6.1 no time to update to 2.6.2

 

Its a ram problem.. at that time your server ram was been almost fully used

 

oh....didn't know that...could it be because that i was continuosly posting one post after another?

 

Sometimes I also get fatal error when I continuously post one after another in my wordpress blog. But I don't receive the same error message like you. I haven't found this problem in earlier version of wordpress while posting continously.

You also informed that you are using 2.6.1 version of wordpress. You should upgrade your Wordpress to 2.6.2 and I hope this problem will be solved.

 

your host probably fixed it up, these errors mostly happen on shared hosting packages

 

i assume ur not using on webhosting services however ur own server?

or else, ur hosting's set up has been pretty poor.. IMO.

i prefer hosting company using cent OS linux..

urs seem to be very old user mapping system.

as said above, it's memory problem... all u need is to reboot the system or let ur hosting admin to reboot it, i guess.
