Wordpress Email Notification Plugins that actually work?

    I know this topic has been done before, but I've tried the Email Notification Plug-IN and Subscribe 2, and none of them seem to work.

    Is there a working email notification plugin out there that will actually notify subscribers?

    I tried to use this subscription plugins for an anime related blog where the viewers can input their email and get notified when my blog was updated. Ran the blog for 3 months and I got 2 subscribers. Then I found out, 200+ people were subscribed to my RSS feed data instead. This may be a reason why not much developers pay attention to email notifications plugins.

    Yeah,RSS is better and it's very popular.
    You don't need a plugin ( email notification),you could use the service provided on http://www.feedburner.com
