Wordpress editor help needed

Recently I have changed some code in a file (forgot the file). I made this change according to some site for a plugin or something-- Dont know what was it.

This code change made visual(wysiwyg) buttons to disappear and now I can write post in html editor only.

Please help me to bring back the visual editor.
Can i replace any original file without affecting the blog posts ?

Go to yourdomain.com/wp-admin/options-writing.php in your browser and enable the "Users should use the visual rich editor by default" option, which is probably unchecked right now.

I know that it disappeared because i have changed some codes in a file.

 

Make a backup and then revert to the original copy. It's not going to affect your blog post.

just replace the core wp files ..

 

Login into WP--->Users--->Use the visual rich editor when writing (on the bottom)..Have you togged that box?
