A run a blog off Wordpress and I'm having duplicate content issues. I've noticed that if I link to another one of my sites the link will show up from 1. The "main" post and 2. The "tag" category. Therefore I am creating some duplicate content in the eyes of search engines. I have downloaded "Wordpress Duplicate Content Cure" plugin but i'm still seeing duplicate content show up. What would be the easiest way to fix this. Thanks Rob
If that plug-in isn't doing the trick, try All-in-One SEO, lots of great features. It has options to "noindex" the dupe pages. You'll still be able to see them, but the bots wll not. If the wrong pages have been indexed, it may take a little while for googlebot to catch up, no worries, it will index the main post only and ignore archives/categories.
Have you read my WordPress SEO Checklist for ideas yet? It contains multiple options for dealing with duplicate content issues.
