Hello there, Does anybody know why WordPress 2.7 (self-hosted) does not allow tags for the posts. When I add tags to a post, the whole blog stops functioning and the post is not visible... Do you have this kind of problem? Thank you in advance!
Haven't updated yet, waiting to hear about any kinks. I am very interested in any replies here if any else has this problem.
Do you get any error? I've been using 2.7(1) since released, and I didn't notice any tags related issue.
Im using the latest version of wordpress with no problems with tags, have you maybe been editing some files and therefore it is not working or as someone mentioned above you may have a theme which does not function correctly. Kind Regards
I also on Wordpress 2.7, but never face this type of problem. Try changing to another themes to see if the problem still happen or not. - Dynashox -
I use 2.7 and no probs so far, upgraded a week back, try changing your theme, I had a problem with one of the theme some thing named seo2.x.. or some thing, it didn't show up archive posts, changed the theme and it works as a charm if you still face problems try to re-upload all the files you had done while upgrading and check out, if you stillllll face problems....... then ask in WP support forums
I also encountered several problems with wordpress because it's quite different from blogger but I think yours just needs a new theme or template. Wordpress is really a techy one but compared to other free blogs, templates here are much better
