Wordpress database Size Problem

    I have a wordpress blog which has no much data but its database size is so bigger which is 600 mb above I do not now how can I manage it and how can I minimize it please help me . One thing is more I have created this database with ssh commands not from cpanel .

    how can I make it small whenever I try to download backup file from cpanel it stops after 150mb and I have to restart the download process .

    what exactly is in the database to make it 600mb? something just sounds wrong there...

    What makes your download file break? try to compress it by doing a full cpanel backup, then use FTP to get the files downloaded. At least with FTP it shouldnt break at 150mb

    one thing to do, is to remove any plugins and crap that you are not using and see if that helps. I just cant think of a reason why your blog is 600mb.

    If your DATABASE is 600Mb there is definitely something wrong.

    It is most likely comments building up.
