Hi people The Problem: Some of the drop down menu is covered by the youtube videos. The Question: How do i stop this from happening without moving the youtube video down? The Example: Here is one of the posts where you can see it happening Im sure this is something to do with the z-index or something, but i can't figure out how to solve the problem myself. So does anyone else know what can be done? Also, if its not possible to get the menu to cover the video, how would i split the menu into columns, so that i can display the genres in the menu across them, thus, when its scrolled upon it wont reach the video.
Not sure if you're direct embedding or what, but the Viper's Video Quicktags plugin may be able to fix this for you. I have it on a few blogs where drop-downs are present and am not having any problem similar to what you're seeing. Frank
Thanks Everyone To Frank: I did use the Vipers Video Quicktag up until i started placing the videos out of the post. Is there anyway you can put the videos in the theme with that plugin, or is it limited to being put directly in the post? To Mrdo, Tonyrocks and Everyone else : I tried both those methods and just could not get it to work. Now i have thought about it more, i like the idea of splitting my drop down menu into columns, much like Digitalpoint do when you click the forums. Is this possible to do? Thanks for your help
Viper does posts and pages, but as far as I am aware it does not do framework. Sorry. You might be able to install it as a plugin then have a look at its code for YouTube; see if there is something there that helps. Frank
