Buying Wordpress Core function Modification

I need someone who is very well aware of wordpress core function modification. Want to change the structure of permalinks on my website

currently it is

http://example.com/2012/[COLOR="#FF0000"][B]08[/B][/COLOR]/post-name/

Code (markup):

whereas i want

http://example.com/2012/[COLOR="#FF0000"][B]aug[/B][/COLOR]/post-name/

i have been successfully able to bring about the changes in the post permalink, but it leads me to a 404. Need someone to solve this issue .

I can do this. You only have to edit one file to accomplish this.

P.S - I just tried this in localhost so I can do it in no time.
