    Does anyone know where I have to place my Analytics/Stacounter code in wordpress?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    in your WordPress admin..click on Presentation then click on "Theme Editor"

    to the right you'll see a list of theme files...
    click on footer.php
    put that code right before the closing "body" tag
