Wordpress Category Problem

Hello,

I'm using the latest wordpress version and i have a problem. Not a problem but i want to customize my categories caption as my name or others. and also the url.

Present URL: My Website URL/category/category name

My Required URL: My Website URL/any name/category name

Is it possible. Please tell me how?

 

I'm not sure if it'll work, but you can try this.

install the plugin:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-no-category-base/

And use:

/%category%/%postname%/

in the Settings/Custom Permalinks

 

Thanks for your input. I want to rewrite the Category to some other name. i want to see Category as google.
