Getting this error message in the yellow box instead of "Category updated" when I try to edit the slug for one of mine. Anyone know how to fix it? 2.5.1
If a multiple word slug try to change it to one word first, then add the other. old-category... new... new-category. You can also edit it in the database, browse the wp_terms table and edit the category's slug in there. You should upgrade to 2.7 too that may do it.
That's really crazy, I run WP 2.7 and this happens to me too. has been bothering the hell out of me too. I have never thought of editing from the database tables before. Ah, good idea. Gotta rep you for that one.

Man, I'm getting this error right now too, and I'm on the latest version of Wordpress 2.7.1 I've found lots of discussion on this on Google, but it seems they haven't fixed this problem with Wordpress yet. annoying I guess but I suppose I can try to work around it
