Wordpress caption text shows up in teaser text

    Hi all,

    I have a problem with WordPress: if I start my post with a picture+caption, the captions appear in the teaser text. See:

    http://www.weirdostuff.com/page/7

    (for instance the last post). Any idea on how to avoid this?

    The teaser in the last post is:

    ""That ought to scare intruders away... we'll take it!" Weirdo Stuff — do you really need me to explain what this site it about? (etc)"

    but it should be:

    "Weirdo Stuff — do you really need me to explain what this site it about? (etc)"

    I think you have to change the_excerpt() function in your theme.
