Wordpress blog to help SEO

I want to install a Wordpress blog on my site to help with overall Google SEO and serp's. It seems wordpress is the most popular out there.

Problem is I am using MS Frontpage for years and I read that Wordpress doesn't work well with it technically.

My questions are , do I have to use Wordpress to get the best SEO results from my site? Or can I create a blog in some other way that would still be beneficial to SEO in the same way?

I don't really want to convert my whole site to another web design program like Adobe CS6 or whatever. I'd rather leave it in Frontpage as its easier for me to edit. I'm not really a web design expert.

    Thanks everyone.

Wordpress will make your life 100% better. It's a ready to go website platfrom that you really need to use as they have Millions of plugins to do everything you want.
It will take you a while to get used to everything but its well worth it.

You could also create a separate blog and include a link in the blog to your current site.

front page is dead dude. Once you go to wordpress you will never go back. If you find a nice clean customisable theme you should not need to code anything. There is a bunch of SEO plugins that help you tune up your site but if you write awesome content then your readers will naturally promote your site. Blogging is the way. Good luck
