Wordpress Blog - Is it bad to link to category and/or tag pages?

    Hows everybody doing.

    Quick question...Is it bad to link to category and/or tag pages, in SEO sense?

    Lets say your categories or tags contain keywords you can target, is it bad to include do follow links to them or will google consider it duplicate content?

    Why would it be duplicate content?

    I think it's actually better for SEO because you arent always linking to the homepage which could be sus.

    I think that is considered duplicate content, just insert a robot.txt into your root server.
