Problem: Google has indexed many spam URL's that I've never posted. It's been a while I updated Wordpress so possibly that caused it. I've been busy creating good content for the blog that's well research and worth it for the readers to create value. Lately, I've posted very detailed and good posts but the rankings just really doesn't appear any good in SERPS. Suddenly I noticed these kind of spam URLS still indexed www.viewlogos.com / pay-day-loans-toledo-ohio/ which is a 404 now What should I do? It doesn't sound practical to me to copy paste each such indexed URL from SERPS and submit a URL removal request from Google Webmaster Tools. https://www.google.com/search?q=sit...=593&ei=yrEEVYPnL8W_ywOluYLICg&start=138&sa=N What's a better solution? Hopefully that would help the site and get good rankings for the kind of content I've been posting. Any ideas good people? In the mean time, I've also prepared a list of useless spam URLS google has indexed. Is there any way to request Google to remove them in a list form? They are many and one by one would be real pain.
google has a tool in their Webmaster Tools section, its called remove URLs, list all indexed urls by searching google using site: parameter then remove all of them one by one using Google's tools
Alright, just did that. Now, it was all showing up pending in GWT and suddenly all of those urls from GWT are not displaying anymore but the Google still has it listed in SERPS. Will this take time?
