Wordpress blog being very slow...

I am having a wordpress blog, droidhub.net The problem is when anyone visits my site they tell me that it takes time to load. I did analysis on pagespeed og google and my site was fast there. Even i disabled all my plugins but the site was still slow. I am using free theme montizuna and it was okay in start and i still believe it is good. Can anyone tell me what might be the problem here ? And any help on reducing the disk space of my site ? Thank you

 

A lot of the time junk code in the .htaccess file can cause your blog to run slower. Have you had a look there?

 

Sometimes it's even the poorly coded theme that isn't crosss browser support that can lead to sluggish loading times. It would help if you could tell us your blog URL so we can take a look. Right now we could take guess's about what's your problem but it won't get you a faster resolution. BTW, I reported the spammer post in this thread. He copied a blog post from 2010.

 

Use one of the cache plugins available, like w3totalcache. Also limit your amount of plugins to very few, they eat up loading time.
