WordPress Back Up Help

    Hello Dpers,

    I am new to wordpress and have many doubts about this system.

    I have a Wordpress blog hosted with Hostgator.

    How do i backup my blog regularly..

    The exact algorithm would help....

    I am totally new to WP... :p

    You could install the wp-db-backup.2.2.2 plugin and then that could back up the tables for you.

    Or you could access your hosting & access phpmyadmin (the interface for sql) and export the database(equivalent of saving it) And you could also access your ftp and download your files.

    You can take all files backup using Backup (Home Directory) backup and DB backup using MySql DB backup option.

    BTW for hourly,daily,weekly,monthly back up of DB, you can use WP DB Backup plugin as well. Search at google for that.
