    Hi,

do you know if there is a wordpress plugin, that posts an article at the date I'm saying?

So for exapmple I write on the today an article and say it should be post on the 10/06/07 at 12 o'clock and the plugin posts it on this time.

    Is ther something like that?

    Thank you

You can set that up on the right , when you are writing a page or a post.
Scroll down, and set the date to when you want it to post.
It won't do time. Just date.

No, you can do time as well. It's under "Post Timestamp". You click on the 'edit timestamp' box and select the date and hour/minute you want it to post.

I use this feature 'Post Timestamp' when I am going away on holiday.

A week or two before I go away, I write the blog posts for when I am on holiday and timestamp them to appear live on the blog on a specific time and date.

    Very useful feature of WP.

Yeah I'm amazed that more people aren't aware of it. I use it every week. I usually post my entire week's posts in one day, then the rest of my week is free for other marketing stuff.

I do the same - it makes life much easier to do lots of posts at once and set them to appear through the week. One of my favorite things about WP.

yup I do the same. I write my 'core' posts in bulk, post them periodically and spend the rest marketing and posting news / smaller posts.

Some templates have no dates, but if they do you can always modify a template to suit your needs. If your template uses those little date-blocks, one very quick fix is to change the box color to the color of the date and vice versa.

That's a really good idea, especially if it's a niche where key information isn't changing every minute (ie an electronics blog would generally be bad, but it would be a good idea for updating game releases).
I've done this a few times too, it's great if you're going to be out of town or something like that, but if something is breaking news you can always post again.

PS: The template on my site (cutmeinhalf.com) has no dates on it, if you want to take a look.

Do you know if this sends out the ping when the post goes live on your site? I had heard in the past that if you write a lot of posts for the future, that they will all contact the ping server when uploaded and not at the time they are set to go live.

Thanks.. just downloaded rss2blog, but a friend just told me that I can schedule drafts to be posted on specific dates on blogger without rss2blogs...

Is he right? I'll check out. ;)
