Wordpress as directory

Hi, I need help to understand how can this be done and which plugins and themes would suit best.
I want to create a directory with free (trial) and paid membership using wordpress.
Basically the directory will be of modelling agencies in a particular country.
I need modelling agencies to register by selecting a city they are in (which can be categories in WP) and create a profile page telling about themselves say about us page and need them to have specifically the following pages (posts or galleries) - Male Models, Female Models, Child Models and a contact us page with a form.

I plan to display cities (which are categories) on the home page so that aspiring models or clients can click the city to see the list of agencies. When a particular agency is clicked it should show their profile page and links to their model pages (viz male female child models) and contact us page. Though contact form can also be incorporated below the profile.

Also, I need a page for casting calls, where clients can submit their requirements on chargeable basis.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone can do it on chargeable basis, I am open to it.

I can do that for you but why don't you go with PHPLD as the directory script? It's better can be easily customized.

 

I think you will find it easier to do custom fields in phpLD. Here is a video on Link Types showing you how we allow you to make different fields which should be great since you need to make a custom site.

 

thnks will check but I found directorypress to be quite impressive. The only problem is that members can't create multiple albums. It allows uploading of images in defaul gallery.

The problem with DirectoryPress is that members can't create multiple albums. It allows uploading of images in default gallery. I need modelling agencies to be able to create Folders/Galleries like female models, male models, kid models and inside that they should be able to create albums for individual models.

I can also do with some script that allows members to create mini sites - may be multisite installation of WP with some modifications. Perhaps a plugin that will allow users to create account/blog under specific category (which can be a list of cities) and few registration fields that would be used to create their default profile post/page. May be there r few plugins out there that can be modified to do that.
