wordpress and sitemap plugins

i've install site map plugins for wordpress and activated it. the problems is, how do i use it correctly, i mean what does this plugins help me in blogging ? thanks

 

What plugin do you use?
I’ve used Google Sitemaps from http://www.arnebrachhold.de/2005/06/05/google-sitemaps-generator-v2-final and no problem with that

It does just what it says. Generates a map of your site for google. This makes it easier for google, which means you get listed quicker. Every time you post, it pings google, and google comes to check out your updates.
