Hello - when a user signs up on my wordpress site, they should be able to sign in with the same login on the forum PHPbb3 and the other way. I know about wp-united but it has not been updated for a year.
personally i think you should log into both seperately from a security perspective, ease of use should not be a consideration
hmm maybe I should do that, people most dont sign up on a blog, just leaving coments, but forums they must sign up. thanks Mate
I don't quite follow what you mean by 'from a security perspective'. (Well I do really). I understand more security equates to less convenience but more security is one big pain in the a....... I'm making an assumption that the OP has not got a site which stores state secrets and thus the that level of security not an issue.
Wp-united is the only plugin that can do this but its no longer supported...but i had seen somewhere phpbb team is working on this integration..
This would be useful so that Users can post comments on your blog and create threads in your PHPBB3 forum with the same identity. I was looking for a script for this a while ago and never found one.
