Wordpress and Joomla integration

Is there a Joomla module out there which will allow me to integrate wordpress into it.

I want to display recent posts and specifically defined wordpress blog posts into joomla's homepage (only a small sample of the blog post, with a read more link to the full post)

Why do you want to integrate wordpress and Joomla??

 

because i have a main page which i want joomla on then i already have a /blog page, i want news, articles on the main homepage and draw sample blog posts onto this page.

 

you can use joomla to do that!! why not use the blog plugin in joomla

 

I prefer to seperate them, wordpress has better SEO options, allows me to have more pages so google has more pages to crawl

and im used to WP

 

You probably solve this by now. If not, try the new component for Joomla: com_wordpress from http://www.corephp.com/.
