    some themes allow you to have html inserts or such, put it in there

    try to use this Adsense Plugin it will be easy for u to manage ads,I personally using this plugin and it works absolutely fine.

    You can change the templates such as the header or footer, that's quite simple just cut and paste the adsense code into it.

    use the text widget , if you want adsense in the sidebar , or find a plugin in the wordpress website

    Search of Adsense Delux Plugin. It is free to use. Very easy to configure.
    Check out this blog where it has been used.
