Wordpress Adsense HomePage Question

Ok, I have searched for the answer to the question below, and see others have the same problem but have yet to find the answer on how to fix it:

When using adsense with Wordpress the homepage ads are always for blogging or something else not related to the theme of the site. Yet all the other pages ads other than the homepage match quite well.

So how do you get the homepage ads on Wordpress to match the theme correctly? Is there some trick to it?

    Thanks,

    Chad

Meta and title tags + section targeting.

Who told you that? Using AdSense on Wordpress is like using it on any other site! Self-hosted WP blogs can have AdSense on them since you can edit templates, etc.

Just a guess--- I bet your homepage isn't focused. It probably talks about a lot of various things. I find that the more focused my page is, the more targeted adwords is.

I actually have done that because I have the WP SEO plugin as well. The site is a highly targeted niche so it has to be something to do with the index homepage setup.

I have over 40 pages now, and the only one not showing the proper ads is the Homepage?

I am using the PROSENSE theme if that helps.

    Thanks,

    Chad
