I have a wordpress blog, and I need to put my Adsense on it. HOW? It's just a free account off of the wordpress site, I'm not hosting it myself.
    Thanks in advance guys,
    I LOVE DP!!

    Hi theJared,

Not sure how that free account works, but to get your Adsense code in there you've got to edit a couple of files: sidebar.php, header.php, footer.php are the main ones. Also, you can incorporate your Adsense code in a post and make that post 'sticky' so it always appears at the top, or you can add it to the content areas of your pages.

I've been working on exactly this stuff on my own site, so you can check to see how I'm doing it there: wordpress-adsense-system.com . I've also incorporated the AdsenseDeluxe plugin to make the process more flexible.

With more specific info, I might be able to offer more specific help.

    Kat

Sorry to tell you that, if you are hosting your free blog account at wordpress site, you are not allow to put in your own adsense code. Only site that hosted on your own domain can do so... there are plenty of adsense plugins available for wordpress. Just search for adsense plugin from google search engine and you will get it there.

Right. Adsense is javascript and wordpress.com hosting does'nt allow JS. I don't think there is a rule against non-JS advertising, like affiliate ads though.
